Client Brief

Cross Refrigeration were selected following a competitive tender to install air conditioning equipment into this new high specification office building which was under construction on a fast track basis. The building was a speculative office development with repetitive floors being fitted out simultaneously.

The Solution

The building was fitted out with Toshiba VRF heat recovery air conditioning equipment to provide heating and cooling to the respective areas, executive offices were fitted with independent room controllers, the open plan areas were grouped controlled into zones, each floor was assigned a centralised control system to override local controls. The server room was fitted with Liebert Hiross close control down flow air conditioning equipment on a duty standby basis to protect the computer servers from over heating.

The Result

This state of the art office building in the centre of Belfast was consequently let to a number of clients prior to it completion, Belfast City Council and Liberty IT being the anchor tenants.
